call nowWe lived in a townhome that shared a wall with another unit that had a massive fire. There was no fire damage on my side but water from the fire hose seeped over and the smell was AWFUL! Dennis brought over a massive air cleaner right away to clean the air, and also remedied the water so we never had to move out. We were able to stay put comfortably the whole time!
Dennis is also trustworthy, communicates well, and is very kind. I would highly recommend, no matter what the issue!
Dennis and his team did an excellent job taking down my garage and clearing my house after a fire destroyed it and damaged the entire building. I had to deal with issues getting money between my bank and insurance and he was extremely patient throughout the whole process. I would recommend him and work with him again without a doubt.
I had an electrical fire in my garage on New Year’s Day 2020... It was a terrible start to what looks to be an otherwise fantastic year..
Between dealing with the insurance company and figuring out a way to get my garage back in order; it really seemed like a monumental task.
Luckily I found Kelley Klean, and all of a sudden I was able to get back to my (already very busy) normal life. They communicated with the insurance company, did an impartial list of lost possessions, got rid of everything that couldn’t be saved, and cleaned my house so well we joked about putting it on the market.
There is no trace of the fire. They turned the situation into something very manageable. I will forever use them for any further services I ever need in that area.
Our team of technicians will arrive on site and quickly begin removing your salvageable items and taking inventory.
From soot removal, removing smoke odors and making necessary repairs, we got you covered.
You can return to normal life after we get your approval for the work we performed.
The damage caused by a fire is extensive and far-reaching. In addition to the physical damage caused by the fire itself, secondary damage from heat, soot, and smoke can add to the damage, compounding the loss.
Generally, heat is among the number one copponents of electrical processes, structural integrity, devices and electronic products. Once power cables and/or the panel box in the building heats past a certain threshold, they can degrade at a higher rate.
Soot can absorb into almost everything and creates more hazards to an affected area than just grime. Most people don’t realize that over time, soot can cause building materials to weaken. When soot clings to electronic devices or electrical outlets, it can also cause the circuits to short.
Make sure you and those around you are in a safe spot, and the fire is completely gone. Do not attempt to remove or clean any items, building materials or electronics.
In the restoration business, time is key to getting your property restored. When a fire hits your property, you have three forms of damage; water, soot and smoke. With any water damage situation, you only have 24 hours before mold and secondary damage starts to occur. The quicker you give us a call, the faster we can start the mitigation process.
At Kelley Klean, we equip our technicians with the right tools to identify even the water that has migrated beyond what is obvious to the naked eye. We closely and carefully follow the path of water flow and try to identify the actual damage due to water ingress. We also assess the secondary damage to the property due to water leakage.
Whenever possible, unlock windows and doors in the building to air it out.
As soon as your property is available and deemed safe, inventory your belongings in the affected locations as best as you can. Create copies of that list if necessary, and be sure to submit it to your insurance company.
If applicable, clear the refrigerator or the freezer and leave it open. It is advisable to disconnect the refrigerator or the freezer, unload it, and leave it open to allow it to air out in case the electrical system in the building was destroyed because of the fire. By doing this, you prevent food from spoiling.
Do not attempt cleaning until the situation on your property is considered risk-free. Allow the experts to deal with the affected areas of your property first since you could be dispersing more hazardous particulates and thus causing more damage.
As the affected areas dry, we will slowly take equipment out until drying is complete. Depending on the severity of the project this could take as little as three days.
There are possibilities of an unnoticed short circuit in the device and/or appliance involved. Leave it to the professionals to deem the environment safe and hazard-free.
